Hairpins by Damian Monzillo started as many ideas do by solving a problem. In the beginning of my career I was using common hairpins that wouldn’t keep their shape and in turn I had to use a ton of them to know the hair would be secure. In Paris I found these beautiful and strong hairpins that aren’t sold here. That was when the first part of the problem was solved. Now, starting and growing the brand to be able to give both hairdressers and consumers the benefit of using a pin that is strong and also fits the head is my North Star.
